4 Hour Herb Walk

Come join us for a full 4 hours (sometimes we run a bit over..) in the nature that is Kalymnos. W will go to areas few venture, but nothing too strenuous. Learn a bit about the plant life of Kalymnos which is unique any way you look at it. Crocus here bloom in November, so you see the biological clock is very, very different.

Because of the lack of rain (June - August), little soil but lots of rock, plants have adapted to survive. Their potency is 2nd to none. the essential oils they produce is extreme.

We will learn to harvest plants correctly to help them grow stronger and more production. This we do with Love and Respect and when we come back they are fuller and have much more to offer.

You will leave with a basket of goodies from your walk and you will learn to make a tincture and an herbal oil infusion. By the time our walk is over we will have visited a few places and we will wrap it up with a light Picnic with a view and time to go over our walk. You’ll leave fulfilled and we leave with new friends. Most come back at a different time of year to see a different Nature of Kalymnos, she is diverse!.

Do bring sunglasses, water, medications, a hat and a camera. We will at some point to fill up on more water or if you wish a local fruit soda.
